Mr. Hemba has more than 21 years’ experience in M&E, most of it gained in water and sanitation projects. A strong advocate for equity, inclusion and participation, he has been involved in the establishment and operationalization of M&E systems for water, sanitation and hygiene programmes in several States in Nigeria. His professional focus is on Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Integrated Community Development and Institutional Development. He has served in various organizations in various capacities including, the Country Representative (Nigeria) in the International Organization for Collaborative Outcome Management (IOCOM), Group Manager, Water and Sanitation Group on the Water Network by TallyFox, Technical Advisory Team Member, Southeast Asia Community of Practice for Monitoring and Evaluation of Climate Change Interventions,  and an Advisory Board Member, Africa Utilities Week 2014, 2015 and 2016. Mr. Hemba holds a M.Sc. Development Studies, Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria; and a B.Sc. Mathematics/Statistics, University of Calabar, Cross River, Nigeria. In addition, he is a Member, European Evaluation Society
