Grant funding is an important source of financing governments, non-governmental organizations and other agencies including private sector across the globe. Here in United States grants are important tool for Federal Government financing commercial entities, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations across the country. The Federal grant process starts from pre-award, award, post award monitoring to close-out and is governed by various Federal laws and regulations, including circulars and specific terms and conditions set by the awarding agencies. Federal grant recipients must also comply with all applicable terms and conditions of award, Federal laws, regulations, and policies. Congress legislates the applicable grant-related laws and regulations while the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) develops the relevant Executive Orders and Guidelines for the administration and management of grants. It is therefore of paramount interest for the grantors and recipients (grantees) to ensure that the funds are managed well. For the recipient managing the funds well can be crucial to the organization’s success.

CDCI provides both in country and international Grants Management Services covering all the three phases: pre-award by assisting in identification of funding opportunities, research and develop appropriate applications; award administration processes covering development of financing agreements and related grant awarding procedures; implementation support including compliance monitoring; and program accounting and control processes including financial reporting. Recently CDCI has been assisting grantors develop appropriate grant operating processes and digitization of the processes.
