Hatem is a procurement practitioner with over 10 years professional experience in public procurement, and with specialization in projects financed by the international financial organizations (EU, AFD, KfW, and AfDB). He also has excellent knowledge of WB, EU, AFD, KfW and AfDB procurement regulations and procedures. He has experience in procurement and contract management covering varying sectors including water and sanitation, energy and power, roads and transport and has provided his services
covering all levels of procurement including services, goods and works. He holds a Diploma in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), a master’s degree (MSc) in Strategic Procurement Management Form American University in Cairo and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University
