He has over 38 years’ experience in financial management with extensive all-round experience in financial management and accounting with specialist knowledge in project design with emphasis on development of costing models; supervision of donor-funded projects; development and implementation of financial control and reporting systems; undertaking financial analysis and reconciliation of accounts; recruitment of staff, on the job training and mentoring; design of procurement and contracting procedures; budgeting and budgetary controls; governments funds flows and accounting; conducting training and workshops; and appointment of external auditors and liaison to produce audited financial statements for Government, Donors and other stakeholders. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and Certified Public Secretary of Kenya.
