Mr. Tump has 29 years´ overall working experience in management, monitoring and backstopping of development projects with focus on rural development, water, sanitation, and institutional development. For 20 years of those he has been planning, managing, monitoring and evaluating water and sanitation projects. Further he has vast experience in Leading major assignments and also undertaking M&E system design and excellent computer data processing skills, with 11 years´ experience in training and capacity
building in M & E for development programs, and overall, 19 years´ experience in M&E including the evaluation of over 100 projects and programs and the introduction of adapted monitoring systems. In addition, he has 17 years´ training and supervision of government staff on national, provincial and local level, including development of training guidelines and 3 years´ as a trainer of “ TrainEval – Training for Evaluation in Development” of the University of Saarbrucken, Germany. Mr. Tump has a Master of
Science in Sociology with specialization in Development Planning & Rural Development from Bielefeld University, Research Centre for International Development.
